Selling international rights in our authors' books, both in translation and to the USA, is crucial to the success of our business and we pride ourselves on the world wide reach and strong reputation of our agency.

When we take on a new author we always have in mind their international potential and we represent authors who have sold in as many as 40 languages. To keep abreast of the different translation markets we have constant communications with foreign publishers and their UK scouts, attend book fairs including the annual Frankfurt, London, Bologna and US fairs, and we make regular visits to New York.

We are fortunate to work with excellent co-agents in the international markets. In Europe, Russia and China our books are sold by Andrew Nurnberg Associates. In Japan we work with The Tuttle Mori Agency, The English Agency and Japan Uni and in Korea with EYA.

Representation in Israel is with the Deborah Harris Agency, in Greece with JLM in Athens and in Turkey with ONK.

We have close links with all the major US publishers and we handle some of our authors' work direct. But generally we choose to work with a number of excellent agents, carefully selecting the one we deem most suitable for an individual author. These agencies include Zoe Pagnamenta, Inkwell Management, the Gernert Company and Curtis Brown San Francisco.

When we arrange separate publication in Canada our rights are handled by Anne McDermid.
